Icecap exists to promote the appreciation, understanding, and growth of existential and phenomenological psychotherapy through publications, events, and colloquia, including internet activities. Icecap will seek to achieve these airms by creating dialogues amongst individuals and societies to further the development and dissemination of of existential and phenomenological approaches to psychotherapy.

Icecap will also provide a platform for the international registration of existential practitioners through the European Association for Psychotherapy and the World Council for Psychotherapy.
